This years Portage County Farmers Roundtable Series kicks off with
a FREE screening of the new film

Farmsteaders by Shaena Mallet.

Join us for a night focused on Ohio cheesemaking and bringing value to the bottom line with value added products. The Film, Farmsteaders, follows Nick Nolan and his young family on a journey to resurrect his late grandfather’s dairy farm as agriculture moves toward large-scale farming. Following the film will be a community discussion led by local cheesemakers Abbe Turner of Lucky Penny and Rebecca Oravets of Old Forge Dairy.
